Silver IPv6 Network Engineer Certification
The IPv6 Forum Silver Certified Network Engineer course is intended for network and system engineers who need to understand the new features and operational characteristics of networks that include IPv6. It introduces participants to the basic concepts of IPv6 and how these differ from IPv4, related protocols, and the various transition mechanisms that help add support for IPv6 into existing networks. Course participants will be instructed by one of our IPv6 experts, as they learn how to configure networking software and devices to support IPv6, how to use auto-configuration to manage IPv6 addresses with both Stateless Address Autoconfiguration and DHCPv6, and how various IPv6 mechanisms work, such as Address Resolution, Router Discovery, Neighbor Unreachability Detection, the available transition mechanisms and how they work, and more.
