GMIS International Elects New Officers and Board of Directors

Leadership team established at GMIS International's recent annual conference.

Santa Fe, New Mexico – June 16, 2011 – GMIS International is pleased to announce its 2011-2012 Officers and Board of Directors.

• President – Rick Bareuther, City of Sparks, Nevada
• 1st Vice President – Paul Ruth, Cobb County, Georgia
• 2nd Vice President – Janet Claggett, Richland County, South Carolina
• 3rd Vice President – Jim Buston, City of Auburn, Alabama
• 4th Vice President – Brian Kelley, Portage County, Ohio
• Treasurer – Sherri Flynn, City of Sparks, Nevada
• Membership Development – Lori-Ann Fox, City of East Providence, Rhode Island
• International Director – Clark Rainer, Henry County, Georgia
• Executive Director – Johnny Walton, Aiken County, South Carolina

The newly elected Board was installed at the 2011 GMIS International Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Under the leadership of Conference Chairperson Sue Farni, the very successful annual conference was attended by over 150 public sector IT leaders and technology vendors, including international delegates from Belgium, Sweden, Canada, The Netherlands, and New Zealand.

GMIS International also announced that the 2012 Annual Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois, August 19^th – 22^nd.
