GMIS membership is comprised of government agencies, not individuals that make up these
organizations. While member agencies differ in many aspects, it is a homogeneous group
with similar interests. Not to be confused with other user groups, GMIS focuses solely on
situations related to government information processing.

Membership fees are based on your agency's EDP budget:
If your annual budget is less than $250,000 dues are $75
If your annual budget is $250,000-$1,000,000 dues are $150
If your annual budget is $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 dues are $300
If your annual budget is $3,000,000+ dues are $400
